Hello: I like your graphics very much but am not a designer. What software and/or skills do I need in order to insert my logo and report names onto the cover graphics you show? My website is under construction at this time.
    Thank you for your help

    Hi Debbie,

Sorry about the delay in approving and answering your comments. My email notification and forwarding for comments doesn’t seem to be working right so I’ll have to check into that. But, as for your question…

It will depend on the particular package you use. Ones that have files in the PSD Photoshop format will need to be edited in Photoshop, GIMP or other Photoshop compatible graphics editor software. This is usually rather easy to do as long as the graphic is well designed. Basically all you have to do is select the text layer and type in the text you want for your site.

For those with only JPG, PNG or GIF format, it’s a little more tricky since there’s only layer and you can’t separate each part of the picture into it’s own component. These are a little easier to edit since you can type in your own text even using a simple graphics editor like Windows Paintbrush. However, I do recommend that you get a full fledged photo editor program that allows layering to produce the best results.
